It was a lesson in proper British etiquette. It was not a lesson on British food etiquette. No elegant foods were served with demonstrations on how to sip tea or scoop soup, nor were instructions given on pairing the appropriate utensils with the corresponding course of the meal. Instead of rushing to lunch after the 11:30 bell, many students rushed to Treasure Island today. From the way the students were flowing into the store, it certainly seemed that the global recession hasn’t hit Treasure Island. The camp store welcomed its first customers today and sold well over 60 shells worth of merchandise in the first half hour of business.
